Chemical Saber

For my 35th weapon design I thought I'd go through dA and find someone else's great idea and COMPLETELY RIP IT OFF!! AHAHAAHAAHAHAHAHA

Alright, so I can't do that in good conscience. So, this is the guy who inspired me with his chemical blade: and his deviation

I thought it was a neato idea but it wasn't to my aesthetic so I asked permission to redesign it to my specifications... and here it is. In my defense, I've elaborated and altered the initial idea.

For some reason This is reminding me of an old car from the 50s. xD Which I'm not really upset about.

Note: The blade is upside down as most of the weight is at the top (which is standard for all sabers, really, since the blade curves back) and it would be more difficult to safely store it in the other direction

Details and usage:
The larger tank would be filled with some kind of chemical, either combustable, poisonous, acidic, radiating, etc, etc. This is the fuel tank that holds the user's entire payload. Through pressurized chambers and a switch on the hilt, the user delegates how much of the liquid they want in the lower usage tank. The usage tank is highly pressurized and sends the liquid through a small vein in the edge of the blade (it's there, download to check.) This allows the user to excrete the liquid onto the blade. More liquid in the tank, more liquid on the blade, more of a chance to splash (this is why there are two tanks).

You can use it to make the wounds you inflict far more deadly or immediately painful...


Since it's not... really... practical >_> I might give it to an Aelphi character in some kind of mercenary group which may or may not be in development for Myth: Of Men and Monsters.

--as for the actual construction and rendering... I need to fix the shadows, the map size is down.
