Description
Yeah... ok... here's the story of today.
I borrowed a fellow studio member's cintiq 12wx to get some work done on the portfolio. I was told that he had a mini displayport adapter... it was mini dvi. No problem. I go to microcenter, grab a mini displayport adapter and head back to the house.
Hours later, I was still trying to trouble shoot exactly why the display wasn't showing up on the tablet screen.
So I install new drivers, google the problem, etc... nothing fixes it. I test the wire on another device and it shows the same peculiarities... it's faulty.
I put the cintiq away with the resolve that I'm going to return the wire and try again tomorrow... but I pull out my intuos 1 with the intent of at least getting SOMETHING done.
nope... the new wacom driver doesn't support the intuos 1 or 2 anymore... and when I go to download the driver that does, the wacom site is down for maintenance.
I finally found an old driver on CNet, and got that working, and then popped into Cinema 4D R14 (the newly released demo) and I start playing around with the sculpting feature... and this comes out.
an ok end to a pretty shitty day.

as a side note, it's interesting to observe that my username on dA was created before we changed the character's name from FEAR to FEER...

And it was such a simple plan... At least it ended well DA will now let you change your username, but I hope you leave it the way it is. I think your current username is more suggestive. Changing the fear to to feer would sort of ruin that.
